Our fall colors have almost completely faded for the season, but recently, I was able to capture some die-hard bloomers that the frost hasn't gotten to yet...
Double-blooming irises...
Asters...
Sedum...
Dragon's Tail...
Mums...
Marigolds...
Nasturtiums growing between the deck steps...
And the very invasive, but beautiful Morning Glory...
Natty created this lovely bouquet with Zinnias, a few Snapdragons, and the very last stalk of our Butterfly Bush...

But the word of our God stands forever." ~ Isaiah 40:8
so precious Lisa.

It's always so nice to have you stop in, Anne.
DeleteHave a blessed week in Him. :)
I know jealousy is a sin.....but I'm sure having trouble not being jealous....as my world is covered in white already.
ReplyDeleteAnd I am jealous of you, Kendra! I love snow and am hoping for a very white winter. :)
DeleteHi Lisa! Your flowers are simply beautiful! The days are quite cold here in the mountains with snow in the high country so our flowers are all gone. It was a joy seeing yours :)
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed day!
So glad to "see" you, Stephanie. And I am sure your neck of the woods is as beautiful as ours. :)
DeleteHope your day is blessed beyond measure!
Oh, how beautiful those double bloomers are! I have to say I never knew that they existed and my grandmother bred some of her own strains of iris!! This is too cool! I will have to look and see where I might find a few. The color is delightful, too. I am so glad you stopped by DRAH. I often don't get to visit others b/c of time, but will always try to visit back. May the Lord bless your day!
ReplyDeletePS I LOVE the John MacArthur quote in your sidebar!!!
It's always nice to have you stop in, Jacqueline. Yes, the double bloomers are some of my favorite flowers; the first ones I see in the spring, and some of the last ones I see before winter closes in. You can find them @ www.brecks.com.
DeleteHave a wonderful Thursday in Him! :)
