Fall Flowers

Hi friends,

Our fall colors have almost completely faded for the season, but recently, I was able to capture some die-hard bloomers that the frost hasn't gotten to yet...

Double-blooming irises...

Asters...

Sedum...

Dragon's Tail...

Mums...

Marigolds...

Nasturtiums  growing between the deck steps...

And the very invasive, but beautiful Morning Glory...

Natty created this lovely bouquet with Zinnias, a few Snapdragons, and the very last stalk of our Butterfly Bush...

"The grass withers and the flower fades,
But the word of our God stands forever." ~ Isaiah 40:8

  4. Hi Lisa! Your flowers are simply beautiful! The days are quite cold here in the mountains with snow in the high country so our flowers are all gone. It was a joy seeing yours :)

    Have a blessed day!

  5. Oh, how beautiful those double bloomers are! I have to say I never knew that they existed and my grandmother bred some of her own strains of iris!! This is too cool! I will have to look and see where I might find a few. The color is delightful, too. I am so glad you stopped by DRAH. I often don't get to visit others b/c of time, but will always try to visit back. May the Lord bless your day!
PS I LOVE the John MacArthur quote in your sidebar!!!

    1. It's always nice to have you stop in, Jacqueline. Yes, the double bloomers are some of my favorite flowers; the first ones I see in the spring, and some of the last ones I see before winter closes in. You can find them @ www.brecks.com.
Have a wonderful Thursday in Him! :)
