Wordless Wednesday {sort of}

Here's what it looks like at our house after a trip to the library...

"The most common and monstrous defect in the education of the day
is that children fail to acquire the habit of reading. "
~ Charlotte Mason

Have a wonderful Wednesday, friends!

  2. What inspiration! Isn't it wonderful to see your children reading and enjoying books? It is one of my fav. joys around here to see my children curled up with a book - or begging to read! Have a lovely day!

  9. Oh my, this is exactly the scene at my house after a trip to the library. It's also the scene in the waiting room at our dentist's office! Our dentist marvels during every visit at how our children are the only children she sees reading books in her waiting room. What a wonderful quote from Charlotte Mason and so true. I've enjoyed looking around your blog, thanks so much for stopping by mine!

  11. This is so good to see. It is safe to say that your children will be readers for a lifetime. I like to hear what my adult children are reading.
