A Most Precious Gift

"Oh Lord, You have formed my inward parts,
You have covered me in my mother's womb.
I will praise you for I am fearfully
and wonderfully made."
~ Psalm 139: 13-14

We are thanking God

Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them."

Holding Daddy's hand.

Adorable little feet.

Can you tell that I'm in heaven?  :)

Dear friends,
Thanks so much for all the prayers and well wishes for my daughter, the baby, and our trip. The delivery went well, and Mommy and baby are doing great.
Evelette means "promise of life", and her
middle name "Elyssa" is in keeping with the tradition of my daughters and granddaughters having a form of my name as a middle name.  :)

Hope you all have a blessed week,

  4. I'm sorry that I didn't "catch you" before you went to be with your daughter during her birth, but your dear family was in my thoughts.

Your newest granddaughter is simply adorable, and I LOVE her name! Evelette is not a name I've heard of before, but I love it's meaning. The photo of you and the baby is a precious one as well.

I'm glad everything went well for your daughter's delivery. :)

    1. Oh, Anne...you are expecting your 4th grandchild, too?! How wonderful for you all! I will keep the mama and baby in my prayers.
And I love that my daughters and granddaughters have a form of my name. But I'm wondering...what will we do if too many females are born into our family? I guess that's a nice problem to have, right? ;)
Much love to you, dear friend.

    1. Hello, dear friend,
You pronounce her name like Evelyn, only with an "ette" at the end. They live 8 hours away, but we stay on touch via email and phone calls. Thanks for stopping by and I continue remembering your little princess in my prayers.
      In Christ,
