"The home is also where future queens learn how to rule their own kingdoms.
Are your daughters learning by example all that goes into the management of your family estate?
It doesn't matter if you live in an apartment or a grand house; your home is truly your family's castle. Do your daughters see you as the queen and ruler of your realm or as a slave reluctantly doing enough to get by? The future of the home depends upon the example you are giving your daughters."
Have a blessed day, friends!
This looks like such a NEAT book!

It is, dear Mary! And thanks for stopping by! :)
DeleteMy sons see me this way, since they have told me so :=) They are not my underlings but my helpers. We work together!
ReplyDeleteGreat book like Mary said.
Maria
How wonderful, Maria...your sons are rising up and calling you blessed! :) Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI have been reading this book as well Lisa! I borrowed it from a friend. I got through the introduction and said to my husband, "This is going to be a great book!" :) What a wonderful reminder of the training we are doing each and every day, right here in our home!
ReplyDeleteAmen, Gail! Thanks for stopping by. :)
DeleteThis is on to "to order" list… I wasn't sure at first but you sealed the deal. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYou won't be disappointed. :) Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI love this quote, Lisa. The enemy used part of it to attack me yesterday, which I wrote about. So in case you read my post, know that I appreciate this quote and understand the spirit in which it was written. Thank you and blessings to you!
ReplyDeleteI read your post and thought you were writing about me. ;) We are kindred spirits, no doubt. Thanks for stopping by and I pray you have a blessed evening!
DeleteThis sound like a great book, Lisa! I think if we are all honest with ourselves, they probably see days when we exemplify both, unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteOne of my goals is to be more consistently and openly enthusiastic about homemaking. I tend to be a bit quiet about it. Not grumpy, but not exactly openly joyful either!
It's wonderful book, Michelle. And you're right: we exemplify both, but the Lord is good, and is able to use our failures for His glory. (Eph. 3:20) Thanks for stopping by! :)
