Breakfast Pizza Recipe

This recipe is from my sister.  She gave it to me years ago, but I never tried it til two weeks ago. It was a big hit with my family. It's a fast and easy recipe.

Breakfast Pizza

1 lb. sausage
1/2 - 3/4 lb. Monterey Jack cheese
1 can crescent rolls

Mix together: 4 eggs, 3/4 c. milk. Set aside.
Cook and crumble sausage. Set aside.
Spread crescent rolls in the bottom of a greased 9 x 13" pan.
Sprinkle sausage over rolls.
Sprinkle cheese over sausage.
Pour egg mixture over cheese.

 Bake at 425 for 15 - 20 minutes.

Enjoy!

Have a blessed day, friends!

  1. That looks really good. I love things like this or breakfast burritos as a treat on Saturday mornings.

  6. Yum, this sounds delicious. I am going to try this. I love an easy recipe.

About teaching many children at once. History, geography, nature study, composer study, Christian studies, classical writing, and classical studies I do with my youngest 5. Latin, math, literature, and copywork is normally done on their own. My youngest is just beginning so she just kind of listens mostly and picks up whatever. I listed each resource for each subject I teach and they are fine for the ages of my girls. Not too advanced for the youngers, and not too easy for the olders. But the four girls are only 4 years apart so I normally pick something 'in between.' The youngest of the 4 reads and comprehends well so she has no problem. And I'm sure that when my 5 year old gets a bit older I will be doing things alone with her. As far as ambleside; we have printed off 8 years of books separated into grade levels and they just go down the list and use the books for their literature. There are times I need to tweak something for the girls in order to make a challenge or to make something easier but not often. They are just so close in age that it doesn't make a ton of difference. Of course their learning journals reflect their abilities but that goes without saying!!

  7. This recipe is really similar to one we made just yesterday using hash browns instead of crescent rolls and 1 c. cottage cheese instead of the milk. We used only a half pound of sausage and sometimes add a can of mild chilis to switch things up. So yummy! The other nice thing about this is that it can be made up the night before and then popped into the oven for an easy, warm breakfast.

    Thanks for sharing! ~Lisa :)
